iFixIt’s iPad’s internal finding shows a large battery and Ram incorporated with its A4 system on a chip. iFixit brings out that iPad’s battery is 5.5 times more than the capacity of iPhone, as it is two battery packs wired in parallel provides a total of 24.8 watt-hours whereas iPhone 3Gs has a 4.51 and Macbook Air has a 40 watt-hour battery. The company states that the A4 has 256MB of memory for 512MB and updates that iPad actually integrates same 256MB of system Ram as the iPhone 3GS.
