RIM announces BlackBerry Curve 3G for Sprint

Research in Motion has announced the recent BlackBerry Curve 3G will be available from Sprint on September 26th. This BlackBerry Curve 3G model 9330 will have a modest price tag of $49.99, after a $100 mail-in rebate. However, there will be an obligatory two years service contract anchored on it.

The features list of the BlackBerry Curve 3G accessory includes Full QWERTY keyboard, Optical trackpad, Supports Wi-Fi and GPS networks, 2.0 MP camera with support for video recording, 512MB of flash memory with a MicroSD/SDHC card.  In addition, the Blackberry 6 OS will be available to Sprint Blackberry Curve 3G handset formerly in 2011.

RIM (Research In Motion) brings in some good news for people who are excited to use 3G smartphone to stay connected with their friends and family members in South Korea. BlackBerry Pearl 3G is now available for Pre-orders in South Korea. RIM says it introduces Fresh BlackBerry Pearl 3G Smartphone in South Korea with SK Telecom.

BlackBerry 3G manages to pack in support for high-speed 3G (HSDPA) networks, Wi-Fi and GPS along with a assertive processor that drives visually beautiful images on the sharp, high-resolution display.

Apple's special event on 1st September

Apple has announced a Special Event on 1st September, Wednesday with an invite being sent to journalists. The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, but it has no tagline that is accepted with Apple. However, the aggregation accompanying the invite with account includes music-themed event with an acoustic guitar having a sound hole of an Apple logo. AppleInsider reports that Apple expected that it is likely to launch a new Apple iPod touch possibly a touchscreen iPod shuffle and an updated Apple TV.

RIM reveals that the BlackBerry 3G is a powerful smartphone and manages to pack in support for high-speed 3G (HSDPA) networks, Wi-Fi and GPS along with a powerhouse processor that drives visually stunning images on the sharp, high-resolution display. It also features an optical trackpad for smooth navigation, dedicated volume and media keys for added convenience, a 3.2 MP camera with flash for quality pictures on the go, and support for up to 32 GB of personal content.

China Unicom plans to offer Apple iPhone 4

Finally, iPhone fans in China have got what they are awaiting. Good news is that China Unicom plans to offer iPhone 4 in China next month. AppleInsider reports that Apple will launch iPhone 4 in China early next month. Also, Caixin media group reported on its website of the same mentioning a Unicom source. Apple also responded to permit Unicom to extend iPad in China, but the products won't be launched simultaneously. The company started offering iPhone 3GS model with wireless Internet capability earlier this month.

RIM announces BlackBerry Podcasts service

Research In Motion has brought out a new Podcast service for its BlackBerry mobile customers. BlackBerry Podcasts service is a free application that allows BlackBerry smartphone users to search, download, manage and subscribe to audio and video podcasts. BlackBerry customers can download the podcast app through the browser or BlackBerry App World. The app is already included on phones running RIM's new BlackBerry OS 6. For growing the new service, RIM has been working with a variety of content providers, including Bloomberg, NPR, Reuters, Discovery Networks, and The Onion.

Apple's iPhone iOS 4.0.2 and iPad 3.2.2 software updates available

AppleInsider reveals that Apple has released iOS 4.0.2 for all iPhones, iPod touches, and iOS 3.2.2 for iPad to patch the PDF exploit. The updates cover a PDF exploit found in Mobile accessories that were used by hackers to "jailbreak" the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.  iOS 4.0.2 is available for iPhones and iPod touch devices and iOS 3.2.2 update is available for all iPad accessories.
